It brings all your music to one place, no matter if those tracks are stored locally or in the cloud, which seems like its biggest selling point. If we don’t compare it with iTunes, Clementine is feature-rich and very capable music player. You can easily reorganize your tracks, find very detailed song and artist info, and even keeps track of your podcasts (which will require account). Once you’ve got accustomed to its interface, you’ll be able to fully explore its features. On the other hand, Clementine is one of those applications which puts functions over design. After all, they are fighting against iTunes which is a beautifully designed application. I actually thought at first that this was an abandoned project, but as it turns out, it is pretty much alive and that’s why I was surprised that developers didn’t try to make it more competitive. After the first good impressions, you’ll be disappointed with its old fashioned interface. You can even add your Google Drive folders, which contain music, and Clementine will nicely implement all your tracks and make them accessible from one place.Īfter you’ve set up your library, you’ll be taken to Clemetine’s main window. Another surprising feature is implementation of online services like Last.fm, Grooveshark, Spotify, and others. By default, Clementine will use iTunes’ library, but you can also add any folders on your hard drive which is big advantage over iTunes. Once you open Clementine for the first time you’ll need to set up folders which already contain music files. Development team is trying hard to bring the latest version to each of those platforms, and this is one of the reasons why development is still very slow.

Today we are bringing you a music player which was available for a while now, but just lately began grabbing some attention.Ĭlementine is a big project of a music player development, and could be used not only with Mac OS X, but also with Windows, Fedora, and multiple Ubuntu systems. Some applications found success in video reproduction (like VLC player), which is one of iTunes’ weak spots. Even though iTunes could use some improvements in certain areas, it seems that Mac users are simply stuck with it, but they are also very happy with all the functions it provides. Trying to create and then offer your own music player to Mac users seems like impossible task. Actually, iTunes Store could be a company for itself, since its profits are now counted in hundreds of millions of dollars. This goes hand-in-hand with other branches of iTunes Store, which is altogether one huge ecosystem.

You will need to use iTunes to sync your library and create back-ups, as well as to buy and update iOS apps. Mac users are actually forced by Apple to use its own music player, especially if you’ve got an iOS device. iTunes is one of the best players out there, and the newest version received very positive critiques. Therefore, Clementine Music Player is really the best to use for listening to your music journey. For it can provide you with clear and smooth feedback of any music you hear in any audio file format.
It is a nice choice when you want to listen to your favorite music. Sorry. When it comes to audio players, iTunes is the first choice for the most Mac users. Clementine audio player was labeled one of the best. Don't get me wrong "My Darling Clementine" is a watchable western, but no "classic" could have such flaws. And also, how could a smart director like Ford include a scene where Fonda faces Mature in a gun duel and shoots "Doc's" gun right off his hand in the most pure "Lone Ranger" style? I must say too that the film is sortof slow, but I admit this could be a matter of opinion. This is not the first potential classic that Mature ruined with his performance (other one is "The Egyptian", though he got a lot of help there from Edmund Purdom in the main role). His part is too important to overlook his terrible acting.

His usual and classical over-overacting literally damages the movie badly. But how in the name of God could they cast Victor Mature as "Doc" Holiday I'll never understand. Outdoor filming in open wide sceneries is fine as well. The cast is mostly adequate, mainly Henry Fonda and Walter Brennan. The black and white release helps the atmosphere and is good. As for direction, John Ford has made better things. So what has this film that makes it so "classical" to most viewers? I've always wondered. If it comes to historical accuracy "My Darling Clementine" is not the version of the OK Corral gunfight you should look for (it lasted 31 seconds and the contenders where no more than 9 or 10 feet away).
